This airbrush is designed for people who need high levels of control for fine detail spraying. The .3mm tip/needle combination make this a great airbrush for spraying almost any paint. No worries about solvent based paints as they come standard with Teflon needle packing. The detail out of this airbrush is on part with most other manufacturer's "Micron" class airbrushes. Extremely fine detail and consistent lines are a breeze with this airbrush.
The Micro Air Control (MAC) valve is a handy feature that you can use to dial down the pressure right at the gun when you need to change the pressure on the fly. The airbrush features a cut-away handle with needle preset as well. This is becoming more of a standard feature on airbrushes nowdays and is handy when trying to pull a consistent line repeatedly. Set the handle and your trigger pull is limited to the preset.
The build quality is impeccable, as to be expected of any Iwata airbrush. The trigger pull is nice and smooth, very consistent from slight to full pull.
